MODE OF ACTION
MEISTER belongs to the chemical group Imidazolinone and acts by inhibiting the Acetolactate Synthase (ALS), an enzyme which is Important in protein synthesis within the plant. This leads to disruption of the DNA synthesis and cell growth.
